Museum Visit to the 'Nicholas Party' Exhibit.

A snapshot I took at the Nicholas Party exhibit at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

I decided upon choosing this location because during my stay at Dawson, and being an art student, I would constantly be at the MMFA looking at certain exhibits for my classes. Although, when I visited this exhibit it wasn't for school purposes, I wouldn't have known about this exhibit if I hadnt visited the museum for my I.A class a month prior and seen the advertisement for it. The exhibit had very bright coloured walls which I thought would be a nice touch of colour to my work, which includes more neutral shades. The arches also intrigued me, and worked with my theme of having my people going somewhere, hence the name, Passing Moments.
